So far i ve only had a few instances where the lamination pulled off of the paper after cutting them.
Can you cut laminated paper.
So i just laminate the entire sheet then cut out my pieces.
This is because the laminate will have a sealed edge where one piece of the plastic laminate fused to the other.
It will also always cut more precise than cutting things by hand.
With the big roll laminators it would depend on if it was something the kids would use or something that would simply be taped to a wall.
That s just my experience.
However if it makes sense and you can fit more pieces on your lamination by cutting first by all means go for it.
If you don t want to do this you can cut laminated paper that has a sealed edge but be aware that it is no longer completely waterproof.
If you teach writing workshop you ve probably heard this more times than you can count.
Yes you need to cut first.
That s why i m so excited that.
Print the cut is one of the best things a cricut beginner can learn.
Let me show you the basics of print then cut as well as some hacks to cut laminated sheets.

Some people choose to cut paper items and then laminate them.
If an older object was laminated and is now peeling you can send it though the laminator again.
If it was display laminate cut.
If the kids use it cut laminate cut.
Laminated stuff tends to peel over time if you cut after laminating.
I ve found that even though cutting twice takes more time it s worth it because the laminate has a good seal.
When your mini lessons aren t reaching every writer it might be time to reach for a picture book.
Maybe older kids take.
I haven t had my personal laminator long so i haven t experimented with laminating then cutting yet.
When you cut after laminating leave a small edge of laminate don t cut right on your paper item.
